課程概述

本課程採問題導向之模式建構與解析方式進行,分別對不同管理科學模式探討之。首先,經由講授並深入分析管理科學模式之組構,使習者瞭解模式建構之理論與方法;再藉由案例之講授,解析模式之應用性;最後經由與實務機構合作,取得機構管理面臨之實務問題,運用課堂教授的知識與分析技術予以問題解決,以獲得對所介紹之模式完整的了解與運用。
This course is problem-solving oriented through mathematical model building and analysis. Various management science models which have been popular and widely applied will be introduced. The instructor will first introduce theories of different models and demonstrate applications through healthcare practices. Then students are required to visit cooperative healthcare organizations and to solve real world management problems faced by the organization with the management science models. 

課程目標
本課程旨在讓習者熟悉常應用於健康照護的管理科學模式,並瞭解模式對不同管理問題的可適用性。再藉由健康照護機構管理問題的實際參與,強化習者熟練運用這些模式解決管理實務問題,以嫻熟數量模式之運用。
The purposes of this course are to assist students familiar with various management science models and techniques which can be applied to healthcare settings or used to analyze large quantity of healthcare data to extract implicit, previously unknown and potentially useful information from data. Moreover, students are expected to have ability to apply these models to solve the managerial problems in real world situations and enhance their modeling skill. 
課程要求
需對不同模式瞭解其理論及適用性,並閱讀相關應用文獻。其次,運用課堂講授之數量模式或技術,蒐集資料或針對既有之資料進行分析,撰寫繳交期末報告。研究過程與結果,需依規劃進度於課堂報告。
